When you think of adventure, you think of Redwise. Since 1906, Redwise has been one of the most versatile maritime employers. Among other things, we specialize in a unique field: Ship Delivery. This means that we transport all types of ships from A to B worldwide for our clients. This could be from the shipyard to the shipping company, between two locations of the client, or from seller to buyer. In addition to Ship Delivery, we have expanded our services over the years with crew management and North Sea pilots. Moreover, we have our own research vessel, the ARCTIC. Thanks to this diversity of services, we can be very flexible towards our team of seafarers and can offer the role you are looking for.

We are looking for a Chief Engineer. At Redwise, no journey is the same. You will sail on ships of the most varied types. Ships can be new, old, large, small, and very special. Additionally, you will visit exceptional destinations and bunkering ports. Your qualities as a chief engineer lie in good seamanship, knowledge, and commitment.

What does a Chief Engineer do at Redwise?

• Manage the engine room.
• Perform repairs on onboard technical installations.
• Maintain a streamlined engine room administration.
• Closely monitor the ship's fuel consumption.
• Prepare technical reports for the ship's owner.

What do you bring on board?

• A Chief Engineer qualification for up to 3,000 KW or more.
• Resilience and a flexible, proactive attitude.
• Proven experience in the rank of Chief Engineer.
