When you think of adventure, you think of Redwise. Since 1906, Redwise has been one of the most versatile maritime employers. This includes our specialization in Ship Delivery, where we transport all types of ships worldwide from A to B for our clients, whether from the shipyard to the shipping company, between client locations, or from seller to buyer. Besides Ship Delivery, our services have expanded over the years to include crew management and North Sea pilots. Additionally, we operate our own research vessel, the ARCTIC, which is deployed as a charter ship for seabed research. Thanks to this diversity of services, we are highly flexible in accommodating our team of seafarers, offering the role that you're seeking.

We are currently looking for you to join #TEAMREDWISE as a Captain. As our Captain, you'll have the opportunity to sail on a diversity of ships, from vintage gems to the latest technological marvels. Each ship brings its own story and adventure. You'll voyage to destinations others can only dream of, with unique stopovers and challenges along the way.

What do you do as Captain at Redwise?

• As the captain of safety, you oversee the crew and the safety of the ship.
• You create a positive, energetic work environment.
• You lead the team with passion and energy to success.
• With precision, you navigate the ship's administration.
• Ensure the ship is tight and tiptop.
• As a master of navigation, you chart adventurous courses.
• Ambassador at sea: representing the company in exotic ports.
• You bridge the gap between sea and shore, serving as Redwise’s frontline representative.

What do you bring on board?

• Minimum captain’s license up to 3,000 GT.
• A valid maritime license and other relevant certificates such as STCW2010.
• The ability to keep the wind in your sails in both Dutch and English.
• A flexible, proactive attitude that weathers storms and maintains calm.
• Communication skills as clear as a starry night on the open sea.
