Maritime Officer (Marof)

When you think of adventure, you think of Redwise. Since 1906, Redwise has been one of the most versatile maritime employers. One of our specializations is Ship Delivery, meaning we transport all types of ships globally from A to B for our clients, from shipyards to shipping companies, between client locations, or from sellers to buyers. In addition to Ship Delivery, over the years, we have expanded our services to include crew management and North Sea pilots. We also operate our own research vessel, the ARCTIC, used as a charter ship for seabed research. Thanks to this diversity of services, we can offer a flexible approach to our team of seafarers and provide the role you are looking for.

What will you do and learn with us?

• Prepare the ship for adventure.
• Skillfully navigate through global seas and ports.
• Monitor the essential heartbeat of the ship and manage technical systems.
• Communicate with shore organizations, such as ports, agents, and government services.
• Play a key role in maintaining safety on board.

What do you bring on board?

• A Maritime Officer diploma or equivalent, ready to brave the waves.
• A valid maritime certification and other relevant certificates.
• The ability to keep the wind in your sails in both Dutch and English.
• A strong sense of responsibility, as the crew relies on you.
• A flexible, proactive attitude that weathers storms and maintains calm.
• Communication skills as clear as a starry night on the open sea.
